The turbulent waters of the ocean are captured and frozen in place in this series. Grains of Capri Blue and Caribbean Flash glass are layered and spun into filaments of deep color. Bubble inclusions are intentional and add to the dynamic movement of each unique work. Shaping of the exterior surfaces are done exclusively with heat, gravity, and air. Transmission of light through each piece and how it bounces off the surface, excite the senses with every turn.
